Biography
Matyas Csiba – MusicMan has a background of a professional musician – as a performer, early years music specialist, workshop leader and teacher. He is an alumnus of the Royal College of Music (BMus – 2014) and the Royal Academy of Music (MA – 2016) – he studied viola with Annette Isserlis and Elizabeth Wallfisch and completed courses on creative learning and participation (outreach). He specialized in historical performance, early years music education and outreach/workshop leading. He was an Open Academy fellow (Royal Academy of Music) in years 2016-17.
Matyas has placements as a music specialist in nurseries, as a teacher of musicianship at the North London Conservatoire – Colourstrings. He is the Head of Early Years department at The Masters Music School, where he teaches violin and viola too.
Matyas is the founder of Melodyland – the early years music department of Music Experts. He created this ‘musical world’ with the aspiration to bring high quality music and specialized music education into the lives of early years children and their families. He leads sessions within Melodyland as MusicMan. He is also involved in educational projects and creative music workshop projects for audiences including participants from the youngest age and their families – always warmly including children with special needs.
